Chocolate Painting Parties

Recently, I had the opportunity to work with the Toronto Convention and Visitors Bureau during the PCMA Convention at the Dallas Convention Center. We created a chocolate painting program for their VIP's, which ended up being a lot of fun for all involved.

The client hand-chose the chocolate templates, which were then made and boxed by SOC especially for the event. As people sat at the table with their custom boxed chocolate, they were given edible glitter and melted colorful chocolates along with a paint brush for each medium. From there, their imaginations took over!

We're now offering this same service to organizations, business entitities, church groups, and more for training sessions, fundraising ideas, team-building, business events, etc.

Chocolate Menus

Seems personalized menus are the latest additions to special events, and we're set to go! I recently took one of our custom chocolate greeting cards and dusted it with pearl for this look. It's a rough draft, but you get the idea - and what a wonderful idea at that!

You are the one to decide the size, thickness, packaging, etc. for this unique and one-of-a-kind item.

Teen Chocolate-Molding Workshops

I recently began hosting workshops for kids. As a Girl Scout troop leader and chocolatier, I've worked with my own Girl Scout troop in Arlington several times over the past two years, making custom chocolate creations as service projects for entities such as Cook Children's Hospital and Safe Haven.

So I decided to host special workshops for kids and adults in my shop, molding, dipping and packaging chocolates - what fun! It's amazing what people come up when given a pound of melted chocolate & numerous molds to choose from, along with bags and ribbon.

Here's a photo of Sunday's group. I'm really looking forward to doing more of these!
